John "Johnny" Allen Davis, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017.

Johnny was a gregarious man who loved people. He made friends wherever he traveled and made it a point to remember people even after a single meeting. Johnny enjoyed the great outdoors including fishing, camping, baseball, golf and cookouts. He was a fun loving guy who brought joy to countless friends and family members. He will be remembered for his classic sense of sportsmanship: respect yourself, respect others, work as a team and always have fun.

John "Johnny" Allen Davis, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017.

Johnny was a gregarious man who loved people. He made friends wherever he traveled and made it a point to remember people even after a single meeting. Johnny enjoyed the great outdoors including fishing, camping, baseball, golf and cookouts. He was a fun loving guy who brought joy to countless friends and family members. Johnny Allen Davis is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Stockdale Davis of Woodstock; son, Craig Davis and his wife, Kristyne, of Dallas; daughter, Laura Davis Nabors and her husband, Ben, of Snellville; brothers, Charles "Chuck" Davis and his wife, Priscilla "Pris," of Kennesaw and Stephen Davis and his husband, Kevin Ireland, of Atlanta; niece, Shay Little and her husband, Byron, of Kent, Ohio; nephew, Taylor Davis and his wife, Amy, of McDonough; cousin, Mark Davis and his wife, Julie, of Marietta and many other cousins to cherish his memory.

A celebration of Johnny's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Reformation Brewery 500 Arnold Mill Road Woodstock, GA 30188. Johnny supported the H.A.S. Foundation Inc., a charitable organization that helps children participate in recreational team sports programs that would not otherwise have the opportunity due to financial constraints. Johnny would've liked nothing better than for anyone wishing to do so, to make donations in his memory:
